Daniel Harper from Sandyford, Dublin 18 contacted ERAT after discovering signs of rat activity around the exterior of his property and hearing movement in the drainage area. Our team carried out a full rodent investigation, including a CCTV drain survey to inspect the underground pipework and identify potential access points. During the inspection, we discovered damage within the drainage system that was allowing rats to travel through the pipes and reach the property.

To resolve the problem, ERAT carried out targeted repairs to the damaged section of pipe and installed a rodent non-return flap to prevent further access through the drainage network. Additional pest proofing work was completed around external vents and pipe entry points to secure the property. After the work was completed, the rat activity was successfully eliminated and the home was protected against future infestations.
